Running is among the best aerobic exercises for physical conditioning of your heart and lungs. Studies have shown the health benefits to be enormous, reducing the likelihood of everything from the common cold to cancer. Your stamina will increase. You'll lose weight -- most beginners often lose nearly a pound a week.
It's not about being a track start or an elite athlete. It is about being the best you can be! It's about learning to run better and having fun with people who share your passion for staying fit. This is a very motivational running group! We are heavy on camaraderie, and very light on competition. You don't have to be a great runner to begin. No matter your age, size or fitness level, you can achieve great results. You may be surprised at how well you do! The EZ8 Running Program is great for beginner runners as well as experienced runners interested in learning how to run better, faster and injury free! We’ll meet on Tues. and Thurs. evenings from 6:00PM to 7:00PM.
YOU MUST BE ABLE TO RUN 1 MILE WITHOUT HAVING TO STOP AND WALK – YOUR SPEED DOES NOT MATTER. MUST BE INJURY FREE.

The Novice Runner program is a perfect introduction to running. If you always wanted to start running, or if you haven’t been running much and need a gradual start to build some endurance to ease you into the EZ8, this TRUE BEGINNER program is for you! We’ll meet on Tues. and Thurs. evenings from 7:00PM to 8:00PM.
